Having read all your responses.And thank you for them. I think it was a little unfair to tie you down to one song when it comes to a favourite. So on reflection I'd like to rephrase that question and ask: What Elvis love song means the most to you,on a personal basis.

There are too many to choose just one because Elvis singing a ballad/love song is my favorite Elvis music type. Two that spring immediately to my mind are "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" and "Can't Help Falling In Love." Those two gave me chills when I first heard them many years ago and still do today.

My favoutite, and like everyone else there are many is "It Hurts Me" a real heart wrencher and wonderful voice control, next is "Thats Someone You Never Forget" it reminds me of my late Mom,"Just Pretend" has to be in there.. And one from the 50's the great "I Need you So" a looked over and Great forgotten song that means a lot to me and brings back great Memories of my time growing up in the 50's..:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy:king:
