Well that's medication for you.
Elvis's fluctuating appearance had much more to do with his combination of meds than any dietary issues, hence the sudden changes at times. It's a fallacy that he was ever a fat man.
Plus, a bad photo makes a big difference!

Agreed. By all accounts, the 2/12/77 show was actually a good show.

couple days later in indianapolis 77 elvis looked way better..
It was more than a couple of days between the Omaha show and Indy - exactly seven days, as a matter of fact.

It's more than just "bloating". Elvis was over weight.

being overweight includes arms, legs, and neck as well..and one can't get rid of pounds that quickly..so?

Yes he was overweight but also bloating contributed to his appearance problems.

The difference there is shocking. That can not be healthy in anyway, for ones body to change like that in such a short period of time. Not intentionally, he was killing himself slowly.:'(

if you look at his jumpsuits from 1970 to 1977 there relaly is not that much of difference my grandmother is one that made my fringe and she does this kind of stuff and wedding dresses and etc. She told me was really 1/4 to 1/2 inch on both side which is really not that much!
Love to all,

He changed like this from 72 till 77. He changed so much.nope i would disagree..elvis was looked just super in 72..weight problems really began to show in october of 74...since then he never really managed a steady weight or waistline..at times when he felt like it he would lose weight. then regain it again.obviosly sadly elvis was slowly destroying himself..just look at what an improvement in the dec 76 tour..elvis looked great really slimmed down but it didint last long.. 1 month and a half later when the feb 77 tour popped up .elvis regained alot of weight..and never recovered .. i would say since oct 74 to june 77 it was always like this no body can take such punishment for too long :king::king:

Yes he looks like he is trying to clear his throat in the first bad photo, his face is scrunched up which causes fat to bulge more on the cheeks-his head and shoulders are tilted slightly down which increases the jowly saggy look and the contrast of the picture is stronger.
The other photo, his hair is neater, the face is straighter with no scrunch, the shoulders are not slouched and the lighting is softer which gives a much better overall look to him.
