:'(I have it and was :'(disappointed with it only because it's full of subpar clips without the real music for the segments. :hmm:Reminds me of the 8mm transfers ? If your a diehard which we are all of course than :hmm:I guess you want it but if I had to get it again knowing what was on it (y)I would pass !

I think this DVD is essential. All the footage is from state of the art laser transfers from the Jean Marc Gargiulo and is presented in the best way here in its complete form in the bonus features as well as in edited form during the main documentary. There is no way I would describe this footage as sub par, it is excellent. You can watch the trailer here:

Its a essential dvd for the footage from live concerts alone.

If you can get your hands on this release: BUY IT!!

You get to see a very well done documentary about the things that happend during 1971. For example there is an in-depth overview of the WORLDWIDE GOLD AWARD II box and many more. To top it off, you get to see very rare 8mm footage of Elvis in a great quality. If you are interested in the "concert years" this is a release for you.

In addition to the Adrenaline series the Behind The Image series is also excellent. Volume three looks just as good if not better than the rest.

The Dvd Behind The Image vol.3 is not released yet.

Why there is no original music on the Adrenaline Dvd vol.2 from 71?

Well super 8 camera's had no sound yet at the time.
The 1st super 8 camera with sound was introduced end 1974 beginnning 1975.

And since the Adrenaline Dvd's vol.1 and 2 are legal products it is forbidden to use original live music from Elvis, to edit this to the footage - because of publishing -copyrights.

the footage is definitely top-notch, but the porno music used in all volumes is just terrible, not to mention Bud Glass' narrating will put you to sleep. I haven't been able to sit through a single Bud Glass release without slipping into a boredom coma each and every time.

The Adrenaline Dvd vol.1 and vol.2 is not a Bud Glass production, but a Praytome and AL production.

Bud Glass is the narrator and did research for the this Dvd documentary.
