Teddy, I think those who were offended have sufficiently forgiven you. I think you can stop apologizing now.

I also agree that Elvis would have certainly found some humor in or your post, too. After all, he surrounded himself with guys and guys like to talk about the very thing that some found offensive.

And, I agree that your subject matter wasn't something that hasn't been covered in every book ever written about Elvis - and some, such as Lamar Fike, seemed to be fixated on the topic, too.

I would also like to say that your subject isn't something that hasn't been discussed (maybe not in such a forward manner, but certainly 'beaten around the bush a few times') here. As women, it would be absolutely ludicrous to think that none of us has ever fantasied about being Elvis' partner at one time or another (and for some of us, on MANY occasions). It would be my guess that we have some members here that are not familiar with your sophisticated way with words and maybe your point was lost.
