In the Jerry Weintraub interview when Jerry went and said to Elvis, "Let's play in New York City", Elvis replied to him, "You know, I don't really want to go to New York City". Jerry said, "Why?" and Elvis replied, "I'm not a New York City kind of artist. They're not gonna like me in New York City. They like me in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. I don't want to go to New York City."

Guess Elvis was wrong about N.Y. liking him...since the fans slept outside Madison Square Gardens for two weeks to get tickets. :D:D:D
