What was the last record that was reportedly on Elvis's record player when he died? I'd heard that it was by the Stamps and that he had paid for the recording of it. Is this true and, if so, what is the title of it? I've looked for a discography for the Stamps from 'round that time but can't locate one.....

I've heard also that it was The Stamps but on another forum recently it was mentioned that an old soul record was found on the turntable

When i visited Graeland for the first time in 1987 one of the fans asked a member of staff in the tv room what was the record on the turntable was, he said it was Shake by Sam Cooke.
Also on the dvd's Elvis He Touched Me JD's daughter said that on his turntable upstairs he had a Stamps acetate, it's on the second dvd, and it show's it,
