Awful.

The organ ruined it.

Let's hope it never gets an official release.

Is this even an Elvis session?
It sounds like an amateur recording with an impersonator, not a Stax out-take.

great song but i dont see the point of the organ, it spoils the song, if this does get a offical realse it will get some bad reviews.

The overdub was originally considered for release. Sensibly, RCA chose to release it relatively unsweetened.

The organ overdub was recorded on January 2nd, 1974 by Bobby Ogdin (who later would play with Elvis on stage) at RCA Nashville.

It can be found on the bootlegs Bilko's Gold Cuts and More Pure Elvis.

I Got A Feelin' In My Body was also overdubbed in a much more unobtrusive manner, and this has had an official release: Good Times (20 Bit version) Peace In The Valley and the 70s Box Set (all with slightly different mixes)

I think the organ is too much. I prefer the original version.

I've just realized why Elvis and the band sound so weird (nasty organ aside). This bootleg has been transferred at too slow a tape speed. It's not immediately noticeable but it's enough to put the whole track a full semitone lower in key and alter the tone of the voice and instruments somewhat.
