Not every hotel where Elvis stayed was in a quiet neighborhood. This picture was taken at the Holiday Inn in Pine Bluff, Arizona, on September 7th 1976. Elvis was there for two shows - September 7th & 8th. This hotel was located in a (too) noisy neighborhood and Elvis decided to take the Lisa Marie and fly back to Graceland, immediately after the show on September 7th. The next day he flew to Pine Bluff for the second show, and returned that same night.

Even though you can hardly see Elvis in this photo somewhat, I always thought he looked awesome in it ! :king:

Really???:supriced: To me, it's one of the most unflattering pictures of Elvis I have ever seen. He appears to have that Moe Howard hair-do, and I think he looks soooo pale.:blink::blink:

I have to agree with Rosanne. If his people were not in that picture I would say it was not him. It was that time in his life when he never even dressed in his flashy clothes just tracksuits. It seems that the spark that he always had was gone.

You are right Kim...I don' think I would know for sure either. I would probably say it was an Elvis "impersonator", but certainly not Elvis. You know times were bad when he began to rely on the those polyester track suits. I'm not sure who those looked good on, but it certainly was NOT Elvis.:sad:

I agree with kim, and rosanne look how small he looks in the pic. i dont think he is sitting on the car bonnet? definatly a unflatering pic. but i doubt it is him.

thats definitely him. Also keep in mind, this is when he finally began to start losing weight. It was only a month and a week later he was looking great in Chicago.

I've seen much much worse photos than this.
