The show is bad, Elvis is bad (or somewhat confused) and the sound hurts your ears!

Interesting, to me it sounds like a pretty good show, with a combination of some strong performances intertwined with some humorous moments.

The sound isn't too bad considering it is an audience recorded source, you can make out quite clearly most of the dialogue, infact, for an audience recording the sound is pretty good in my opinion (though the speed of the recording seems to be a little out).

Worth checking out if only for the live version of 'Raised On Rock', 'My new single' announces Elvis as the opening drum beats thunder out. Coupled with the 50's 'Trouble' (as it is here) it works very well.

Among the other highlights are 'Memphis, Tennessee', a playful 'Fever', some different phrasing on 'My Boy', and what sounds like dog barking in the background at the start of 'Trilogy', prompting several comments from Elvis.

Amusingly, a lady in the audience calls out a request, 'I Can't Stop Loving You' to which Elvis fires back 'I can't stop loving you either, baby'.

Unfortunately, he earlier declines a request for 'If I Can Dream', but does offer a very solid and comitted version of 'Bridge' instead.

Enjoyable show all in all, I'd play it again sometime.

Actually...I was at this show, sitting front and center. I was able to get both a kiss and a scarf that evening! This was the 3rd summer that we had been in Vegas on opening night, and this was a great show. FYI.....Elvis was wearing the "Aloha" Eagle jumpsuit.
