Like I've always said, I've Got A Thing About You one of the best songs from the 70's and should have been a bigger hit.

Did they do an overdubbed version of "It's Different Now," like they did with "The Twelfth of Never"?

I agree this is one of the best 70's songs. It should have been bigger than it was.The beat ,the voice to me one of my favorite 70's songs.

No, thankfully.
It was only a rehearsal and they sensibly decided it was unworthy of release. An awful, meandering ballad.

There was an overdubbed version on youtube some while back...but it seems to have disappeared.....and,to be honest,it wasn`t that bad!!

I must disagree Getlo, I find It's Different Now a beautiful song...all goes down to personal taste though.

I love 'I've Got A Thing About You Baby', one of three great Tony Joe White songs by Elvis. The other two being 'For Ol' Times Sake' and Polk Salad Annie.
I wish Elvis had covered Rainy Night In Georgia, can you imagine how great that would sound?
I saw Tony Joe White in London last Friday, he is still great! Check him out if he plays near you, he still funks it up on Polk Salad Annie.
