What a beauty this is: this is E-L-V-I-S all the way. Note that Elvis wears the so-called 'Aloha suit', but the setting isn't Hawaiian at all. In fact, this picture was taken in 1973 in Cincinnati Ohio. The belt you see on this picture, was actually the third (out of 4) made for Elvis. The first Aloha-belt was given to Ed Parker, the second was thrown in the audience, the third is in Graceland (that's the one on this picture) and the 4th was made to match the so-called Embroidered Eagle suit.

So Ed Parker had one of the Aloha belts? Ed's been gone for quite a few years now and we haven't seen it up for sale anywhere as far as I know? I always thought Ed was a true friend to Elvis even though he wasn't around him as long as Charlie and Jerry.

Maybe Ed's family is cherishing the belt as much as Ed did....I hope so.

Hopefully Ed kept the belt or left it to those in his family..nice to see as most people who have such items are all up for auctioning them off which is a dang shame if you ask me.(n)
