I don't know where I heard it from, but I once heard that, because of many serious death threads or something, there was a secret undercover fbi agent in Elvis' band in the 70s.
Sounds really interesting. Does anybody know who he was or who do you think he was..?

Maybe Charlie..?

Maybe Charlie..?I have no idea, it wasn't Charlie he couldn't keep a secret LOL, or J.D. Sumner. Maybe one of the Sweet Inspirations? Just kidding. I think that was another rumor when all those "Elvis sightings were going on in the eighties..total B.S.(n):lmfao:

I read somewhere about Elvis having under cover police or FBI agents playing in the band too.
Was there any band members that left in the early 70's?

Err no Frank..the only time Elvis had FBI men in the band was when he got the death threat sometime in August 1970 and they were all over the showroom. He never had any band guys who were FBI Agents.

Sorry but when someone said the Sweets all I could think of is seeing one of those girls putting their hand in their afro and pulling a gun out. ROFL!

Love to all,
Tim

Nah, it was Joe Guercio. He had a concealed weapon in his conducting baton. By a simple filp of a hidden switch, it would transform into a pistol.
