How much did Elvis' jumpsuits weigh on average. I know that this has been asked before, but the threads that I looked in had no definitive answer.

i've never heard an exact weight, but i've heard some of them were quite heavy especially with the cape on. but they couldn't have been that heavy or he would have never been able to move around on stage like that

I have heard between 20 & 30 pounds and to be honest it wouldn't be an unreasonable guess looking at the belts and stones in some of the suits.

Well I can tell yea....
Red Lion - 15 pounds
Blue Swirl(Lucky Suit)- 20-22 pounds
Dragon- 30 pounds
Fringe- no more than 5 pounds
Spectrum- (Still being made but I'm guessing its a little more than Red Lion.)
Gypsy- Not going there. LOL
Those are the suits I know, and more are being made.
Love to all,
Tim

Priscilla mentions in her book that they weighed close to thirty-five pounds.
i know she said she tried on the Aloha suit in that DVD.
I find that to be a rather suspicious statement, myself....:hmm::hmm:
Many were made of Gabardine Wool which is a very tightly knit type of wool.
Wool is pretty heavy to start with so they must have been heavy.
