I heard from a fan while I was reading a message board a few years ago that when Elvis first started performing concerts again in Las Vegas in 1969 that Angie Dickinson and her husband Burt Bachacrach came to see Elvis during that first engagement and Angie Dickinson wanted Elvis really bad and came on to him Elvis turned her down because she was married.
I had never heard this story before it could very well be true as Elvis had a lot of women hit on him famous and not. I was wondering if any had heard this story before and could tell me whether it was true or not?
thanks in advance

The list of celebrities who planned to attend Elvis' opening included Pat Boone, Fats Domino, Wayne Newton, Dick Clark, Ann-Margret, George Hamilton, Angie Dickinson, and Henry Mancini. Elvis personally invited Sam Phillips, the man who had helped him develop his raw talent into a unique musical style.

It has been said that Elvis didn't 'get into' married women or aggressive women. And further, she would have had to get past the MM to even make a pass at him.

In Sonny West new book he says that Ursula Andress really wanted Elvis badly during the filming of Fun in Acapulco even though her husband John Derek was there on the set. Sonny goes on to say that Ursula would call Elvis house wanting to talk to Elvis to try and persuade him and Ursula even knew that Elvis was with Priscilla and that didn't bother her at all!
So Angie Dickinson might have very well hit on Elvis with her husband around
as other women did, I don't know I just heard it a few years ago does anyone know?

If theres no information about it brain, l'am guessing this didn't happen, If you hear something google it and than you can see for yourself or ask for sources from the person who stated it.

The story of Ursula and Elvis on the Acapulco set has been known for years. Elvis described her as "angular". He rejected her advances, as he found her too aggressive.
Google, while usually reliable, should not be used as a source to determine whether something happened or not.

Brian's paragraph to which you replied began with Ursula.
Either way, my comments re Google still hold true.

Didnt Elvis say something like "if I move to quick she might cut me in half" to one of the guys about Ursulas angular bone structure?
