I have started a painting in acrylics of Gracelands, so I thought I would show you how it is progressing

Ewa thank you I am not as prolific painter as yourself, I am just starting to get into it again.
I have now added the base coour for the sky and the road plus I now have both benches painted so we have somewhere to sit at least.:lmfao:

Here is another update I have got a little closer this time, not too close though I still wanted to show the whole house.

Ok here is where we are now with this, almost finished I am going to try something with this so I hope it works, but I know it will not ruin it if it doesn't work so no worries there.

I like it better without Elvis' image there.(y) I think it distracts from the painting.

Agree with Tommy here Gordon, it looks great without, and no clouds needed imo.

I would say without Elvis and maybe a few cirrostratus clouds.
Apparently I missed your last catastrophe, lol. I cannot imagine
that it was so horrible...:D.

Thank you all for your comments having ask the same question else where the general consensus seems to be ditch the image and add clouds, so be it.

I have removed the image of Elvis and added some clouds, I am sorry for the poor shot of the painting I will get a better one during daylight hours.

I have donated this painting to be auctioned off in aid of the McMillan nurses, I am not sure how we are going to do this yet, It may be on Ebay, but I will let you know when it has been sorted out.
