Goodbye Elvis....RIP

Since it was 31 years ago tonight that Elvis left the building for the last time I made this in memory of him. Most of these pics were taken in Memphis in April, but there are several out of Gail's personal photos and several out of my personal photos. ENJOY!

I'm glad you liked it! I know it's sad, but the words fit so perfectly. "The love you gave me through all the years will take away these tears". My Mom(who's 88 yrs young!) and I were talking about Elvis one day last week and she mentioned what wonderful years the "Elvis years" were at our house. She said "it was almost as though he were a member of the family". I said..."well, had he lived a little longer he would have been. After all..isn't a son-n-law considered family?" She got a laugh out of that!:D:D

I loved the pictures Rosanne!! I still can't hear the music.... Gosh, I will go crazy here, I really don't know what is my mistake.... LOL... Beautiful pictures!!! Some of them were absolutely unknown to me!! Yes, it's so difficult to believe that the years went so fast, isn't it?? But his love will stay with us (I mean the fans) forever. As sad as it is, and that video is, we should understand that his spirit will never die as it lives on through his music and touches new people's hearts all the time...now that is pretty incredible for someone who has been gone for 31 years !!

31 years...Oh my God, Rosanne. Time really flies. I can't thank you enough for this touching tribute. I'm so emotional right now. This man means so much to all of us who really love him and miss him. Almost like he was a member of our own family. If only he knew how you feel about him, how we all feel about him. I think he would have been really happy.
