Elvis takes mod, mad Europe by storm. He's mixed up with diamonds, discotheques and danger! I don't understand why so many fans don't like this film. It's fun!! Okay, so it wasn't shot in Europe. So what. That would have been a nightmare. No, it doesn't have a great soundtrack. But there's lots to enjoy. "Double Trouble"; Baby, If You'll Give Me All Your Love"; "Could I Fall In Love"; "Long Legged Girl"; "City By Night"; There's So Much World To See".

Chips Rafferty is a great sidekick. John Williams is great as the sinister Uncle Gerald.
Yvonne Romain was fine as the Femme fatale/accomplice. Then there's the Inspector and The Wiere Brothers. Fun...nee!! The only thing I didn't like in this film was Annette Day.
If they were going to cast an unknown in the female lead couldn't they have found someone with a personality. Still, for an amatuer she's okay and doesn't spoil the film for me.

Watch the film again. Go with the flow. Forget that all your "friends" who have told you that you should hate this film. Let yourself have a good time.

A watchable movie, but the Wiere Brothers spoil the fun for me. As well as that annoying "Belgium" inspector "De Groot".

Otherwise a movie that at least looks different from the other ones because it's set in Europe. (Though it was shot in the studio entirely).
Some Belgium "double" (forgot the guy's name) took care of some outdoor scenes in Belgium.

The songs are nice, with the jazzy "City By Night" being the best one.

Well, Norman Taurog knows - of course - how to direct movie. The story is OK, Elvis is good, and in movie are couple of great jokes.

5/10 in normal grading scale
10/10 in "Elvis grading scale" :D

I hope you understand my bad English

And, I cut from the trailer "Old MacDonald" because I remember some one asked is this the Movie where is Old MacDonald (?).

Hi I was talking with Annette day then we went for a drink, Annette was never an actor she was picked out working in a shop in london and was asked to do a screen test and past, she was the only english lady to star with Elvis and i have seen many off the priceless pics off her and Elvis and all so the things she as given me which hang on my wall.
The film was one of the 60s norm which even Elvis did not care for the scripts.
but it is something Annette can treasure for the rest of her life.
