IMHO, without doubt it has to be "Clambake." The chemistry between Elvis and Shelly is awesome!

For me, it's obviously Girl Happy. If you guys will remember that's the movie I taped with a cassette recorder off of the television and would memorize all the dialog. This one's got some really good songs...way above the average movie.(y)(y)

"Girl Happy"
Wacky, Goofy 1960s plot, pretty good songs, good aupporting actors clean old fashioned escapism.

Ooh, it was a toss-up between Clambake - I loved the song House That Has Everything
and Girl Happy - Mary Ann Mobley and Elvis - hot scene and great song
Do Not Disturb, but in the end it was Girl Happy!!!

Of course we remember Rosanne! How can we forget?? :D  But I must admit that I voted for "Girl Happy" as well! I think that it is one of the sweetest Elvis' movies and Shelley Fabares was...gorgeous. Of course you would have been better if you played that role, but, what the heck, she was okay, too! :P :D

I love it when the guys are asking about Shelley and he doesn't want to admit he's fallen for her....just look at that face and listen to his voice!!! Ohhhhhh, so sweet!!!

All 3 movies are FANTASTIC in my opinion, and aside from Ann Margret, I think Shelley Fabares was his best co-star!!! (y)

Given that, my vote goes for CLAMBAKE just because I think it's a great movie and it has perhaps one of his prettiest movie ballads...

Clambake - Elvis played Scott Hayward/Heyward. A bit of trivia - both spellings were used in that film, apparently.
