I was watching TTWII last friday and I saw Elvis getting a shock during "Little Sister/Get Back".

Little Sist-(SHOCK)-ah!
SOB! (not abbreviated)
Shocked the hell outta me, man.

Rubs his nose then sings the next lines, laughing, with Charlie's cackle still echoing in the background.

He also got a shock while singing Don't during these rehearsals.

This you can believe
I will never leave youuuu (SHOCK)

:Lighten::cursing:Elvis did get shocked while playung Little Sister on TTWII. I saw it on VHS years ago. He said "Shocked the hell oughta me", and charlie starts laughing.

He actually gets shocked initially way before this ^^^ scene takes place when Charlie is handing him the guitar.




doesn't he also do it to himself - he pretends to swallow his mike and gets buzzed? this was in the rehearsal portion of TTWII

I think he's more or less acting like he gets strangled and not shocked. He also does this during the 8/12/70 midnight show as well during "Polk Salad Annie".

Do you think about this scene? I think he just felt the vibration of the microphone when he grazed it.

From the looks of it, he didn't get near enough to the microphone in this scene to get shocked at all.

Good call, Tony. Yeah, there's that too.

Believe that one is seen only in the original movie.

Elvis makes a very funny face right after that happens...A screengrab of that would make a nice avatar, methinks.

It's kind of hard to tell with the way the camera view changes to the long shot just as it's happening. Must have been a pretty wicked jolt.

Hmmm.....I'm not sure (if it's the other part of the scene I'm thinking of) that he actually gets shocked there--I think he just suddenly pulls away from the microphone for no apparent reason.

He definitely does get shocked like crazy when Charlie hands him the guitar....

That's what it looks like to me as well. Always wondered what he said..shocked the hell outta me man....
