Music mogul Simon Fuller - who created Pop Idol and put The Spice Girls, SClub 7 on the map - has been named the world's most successful British music manager of all time.
Fuller beat the other musical greats including the late Brian Epstein and Led Zeppelin's Peter Grant in the survey conducted by US Billboard magazine.
In global terms however Simon does remain behind Elvis Presley's manager Colonel Tom Parker, who took Elvis's sales to 148 million units in the US, as well as Irving Azoff who managed the Eagles and Stevie Nicks and helped them to sales of 122.5m.
