I got my first issue yesterday (free) came with my Standing Room Only CD I ordered from Essential Elvis.

The magazine is great looking, pages glossy, great articles. Getting ready to sign up for a years subscription and am looking forward to that !! (y)

Ive been a subscriber for a number of years now.You get to read some great articles/'interviews and great items,I still treasure my signed copy of "revelations of the memphis mafia". I know you can get most info and news on the internet but theres something special about getting a elvis mag through the post instead of a bill or pizza offer.

Even though its just a mag it certainly is a thrill to get I agree !! :notworthy

Before the internet I used to subscribe to various magazines. But for the past years I forgot to re-subscribe. But lately I stumbled again on the website of Essential Elvis (link (http://www.essentialelvis.com/About.htm)) and reminded myself to take a subscription to this fine magazine. It can't beat internet, but it's always nice to have a printed magazine to read in bed or during a break.

I was a subscriber to ESSENTIAL ELVIS for a number of years, before I let my subscription lapse last year... :angry:

It is indeed a FIRST RATE publication!!! While generally, the news contained in the magazine is not right up to date like you can find on the internet (for obvious reasons with time constraints with magazine publications), the interviews and CD reviews are always well written and very informative!!! (y)

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ESSENTIAL ELVIS to all Elvis fans for sure! And for another fantastic Elvis publication, might I also suggest THE MAN AND HIS MUSIC (http://e.dominohosting.biz/dca/NDT.nsf/Home?OpenForm) which is another EXCELLENT magazine for all Elvis fans!!! :D
