Going by this photo did Elvis learn hairdressing or cut hair?

My hubby isn't much of an Elvis fan ....but puts up with me. If I find something really interesting I do talk with him about it. Yesterday morning he wakes up laughing saying that he dreamed Elvis was cutting hair somewhere in Indiana...and then I open up this thread.:lmfao::lol::lmfao:

BTW Elvis really looks like he knows what he is doing there in that picture.

If you're vain enough, you pay enough attention to how your hair is cut...or you're picky enough to where whenever you get a haircut you end up going home and touching it up yourself, till eventually you're pretty good at it.

Or more likely I'm just weird like that. At any rate, I cut my own hair and usually that of my kids and occasionally my wife's.

Funny seeing Elvis do that...I do wonder what the story was there. It would be surprising if he could skillfully cut hair but then he apparently had a thing for fixing girls' hair and makeup, so who knows?

Elvis can do my hair any time... rock'n'roll style or 70s one...

For a test in the movie "Loving You" Gene must be Elvis' stand-in to test some shots. He stood with his back to the camera, but he didn't looked like Elvis from the back. So Elvis took him to his dressing room and began to cut some hair of him.. That's what I heard of some fans

Also some fans say they darkened Gene's hair with black shoe polish to let it more look like Elvis' hair

Thanks Hounddog.

Not seen this before. Was this cut from Jailhouse Rock?
Or did Elvis liked cutting hair?

I like the private photos of Elvis because these are the most interesting
