As an Elvisfan it's always nice to have Elvispictures. I'm always looking in the picturegalleries of Elvis websites. I think it would be a cool thing when we use this thread to post images of Elvis. Please try to add some usefull information about that image (like date).

Here are some great pictures I found on the net:

You're right about that, Unchained. It's from the Huntsville, Alabama 9/6/76 evening show.

You can see that his belt buckle looks like it's missing something. The Indian head emblem came loose and he gave it to a fan.

If I'm not mistaken, Elvis can be heard saying something about his belt on the soundboard recording of this show (Still Rocking The Nation or The Man In White, Vol. 2).

This image has been reversed for whatever reason, presumably by Alverson. But it doesn't seem likely that he would do that as well as get the date wrong, when he photographed both shows and has them dated correctly in his book. Of course for the Birmingham show, Elvis was wearing the Inca Gold Leaf suit.

See how the front of his belt is broken off? Never seen that before on an Elvis suit

That name would be rather long, would it not? But whatever it takes.

That's from a Viva Las Vegas photo shoot, is it not?

I'll try and verify that, but I thought I'd go ahead and suggest that.

Not sure as to whether that outfit was worn in the movie or not, but I think that was something he wore in a VLV photo shoot. Same as the cover of the 60's II 2-CD set--Command Performances. And doesn't the new VLV FTD feature a similar shot? (I don't have it.)

I could be mistaken.

Still very cool!

Thought I'd post this one from '78. Make no mistake--I don't doubt for a second this was some kind of hoax, but I never heard what was the real story here. Anyone know?

(This was aired on one or both of those shows Bill Bixby hosted...The Elvis Files, or The Elvis Conspiracy, or whatever. This was back 4 years before Graceland was opened to the public, but these people were allowed through the gate and permitted to check out the Meditation Gardens, I guess. According to the guy, nothing seemed out of place at the time, but when they got their pictures back they believed they had captured a photo of Elvis. He showed a letter from Kodak verifying when the film was developed, blah, blah, blah.)

Apologies in advance, but I have always been curious about this.

I've always liked this picture of Elvis and Vernon, although I can't really tell what the setting or circumstance is. I believe it's from July 1975.

Hi Captain Elwood David,

Great pictures! I think Elvis looked amazing during his MSG concerts. I can fully imagine how amazed the critics where when the saw Elvis. There was no doubt for them anymore: Elvis was The King!

By the way: what a fantastic avatar do you have. Never seen that picture before. Is that from a movie or something?

Hi Albert,

If a trip back in time were possible, MSG '72 would be one of my first stops.

I am a bit envious of those who were there to witness "history."

Original shot was B&W; been colorized. I believe from "The Col.'s Collection" (which EPE is keeping under wraps at the present); there are definitely others, as well.

If correct, then most probably:

Taken in Hawaii 1961. EP's arrival at the hotel in Waikiki; EP is on his lanai (balcony), peering down at the beach go'ers .......... probably a bit envious himself of the "freedoms" that all of us no doubt take for granted (EP - prisoner of "fame").

EP would shortly be making more "history" ...... peforming his blockbuster USS ARIZONA MEMORIAL BENEFIT SHOW and the filming of BLUE HAWAII.

Yet another mandatory stop back in time .......... (along with ALOHA '73, .... March '77, ... & others, of course) ...........

I remember seeing this picture in the concert book my dad bought before we went in to see Elvis in Birmingham 76. I was just overwhelmed with this pic for some reason, left a huge impression on me as a 8 year old...

This one is my fave pic.

I think that is Memphis 1975. My mom was at that concert. It's a good one if you can get it on cd. I even have a small amount of video for that one.
