Question about Elvis in 1968

I was just watching the outtakes of the 68 special and noticed how thin Elvis really was in that year.

can anyone tell me what waist size he was round that time.

seems so unfair people judge him for the last few years :mad:

I believe there is a quote somewhere from Bill Belew that says his waist at that time was 30 inches. If you have ever seen that suit in person it's amazing to see how thin he had to be to fit into it.:blush::blink::supriced::supriced:

One of my younger brothers is 6ft. tall, weighs 170 pounds, and his waist is 30 inches. So 30 inches seems right. My waist is 36 and I weigh about 190- but I am 5ft. 9in. I am the oldest and the shortest.

On my '68 Comeback dvd, the producer stated in his commentary, that Elvis was in top form physically - a 32 inch waist - but don't know where he got his information from.
Elvis looked great in Live A Little, Love A Little, as well and not to shabby in Change of Habit.
