Much is promised by some; little is given.
But, I don't care about any of the MM lives . Only Elvis.;)

Lamar always has nice things to say about Ann and Linda too. One thing about ol' Lamar...he does get a bit colorful when he tells a story....

Actually, Parker did that to Elvis long ago.
Then "his friends" took over . Maybe, in the next 20 or 30 years people might forget . I pray so.
Sorry, guys. I've just heard plenty from all Elvis' "friends" after all these years. Here's all his interviews along with Mikes commentary. They never change it. I need a vacation.

Lamar certainly is FULL of information...
EIN: What was the song Elvis wrote with Johnny Horton?
LF: I really don't remember it's name. What I can tell you is that they were in a car going somewhere and they put something together. Elvis told me about it. But really Elvis wasn't a songwriter.
It's amazing that after 40+ years, this is the first time that Elvis writing a song with Johnny Horton has EVER been mentioned as far as I know. And isn't it convienent that although Lamar remembers the circumstances where the song was SUPPOSEDLY written with seemingly bright clarity, he can't remember the name of the song!! Nothing suspicious about that story!! (n)
Lamar also mentioned in the article that this song Elvis SUPPOSEDLY wrote with Johnny was THE ONLY song that Elvis had ever written. Apparently he has forgotten about YOU'LL BE GONE that Elvis co-wrote with Red West and Charlie Hodge, and there is actually an interview out there where Elvis said that YOU'LL BE GONE was the only song he ever attempted to write because he didn't feel he was very good at it.
Keep looking in the bookstores under U for unnecessary for Lamar's book!!! :lmfao:
TCB!
