it sucks and i don't want any. i went into a store across from graceland . used the ladies room. who's whole body was a waste basket . elvis. how insulting., to my lifelong friend. thank goodness i only had to pee.

I'm afraid to ask!!!:D:D ask what? this half the size of me waste basket was elvis' poster image. i was mad. i would not want my face on anything for money, and i'm not famous. the picking away at a dead persons carcass started with elvis, and now as if that was not hurtfull enough, the press wants to skin you alive. / more inportant to me than what priss does , is what she did not do ,and that is put a stop to parkers carnival treatment of elvis. now it is: 30 yrs to late for that as well.:angry:::angry:(n)

Well...I have to agree with you that she has not went out of her way to stop all of the silly memorabilia...that's for sure. ;) But as I've said before...it's all about the BUCKS as far as Miss Pris is concerned....:supriced:;)

My grand daughter bought me an Elvis trash can.
I had to keep it and say, "thanks, honey." :lol:

They make Elvis appear ridiculous. That's what makes me upset.
I just had a look on some german sites in order to see what stupid and annoying stuff I could find there. These were the worst things I found up to now.
I wanted to share them with you to haer your oppinion. I did not want to make anybody angry or even sad with these pics.

Someone has to buy this stuff? Maybe if they would not buy this kind of merchandise-it would not end up on the shelf. I love Elvis and his music.
I do not think I need a sink stopper to remind me of him. But some want to have any item with his name or picture on it.(which is their right) I just do not see the need. Now the music, movies, or concert footage is another story.

It just begs to be asked, are the people that buy the Elvis crappy things - are they people who just are out there looking for a joke? Are Elvis FANS out there buying this stuff because they like it, because it has Elvis' name and sort of his face? I can understand the silly Elvis merchandise being popular in the 50's, Elvis and his fans were all pretty much the same age. It was new and gimmicky, but now? I would have thought that only the other guys would market asinine Elvis "merchandise". I guess that EPE has adopted the Colonel's philosophy of making a buck - "someone's gonna cash in, it may as well be us!"


as I said in my previous thread, Elvis fans are not an easy mark. We won't all buy any & every thing just because it bears his image. And like Cameron, I've gotten some pretty bad Elvis stuff as gifts because family knows I LOVE Elvis!
