What does the X stand for?

In that case, I'd suggest it's a mark from the original photo or a copy. It does not look to be on Elvis' skin.

Is it right above the smaller neckless? If so it might been from high school days when people made fun of him...but it might be also like they said had moe removed or might be from his army days don't know.

I believe the "x" is just a flaw on the photo youre viewing.I have that photo also and I dont recall seeing it on mine.I think that photo may be from Dayton 76.It might be a Bob Heis pic.

It could be that it is a couple tiny veins which cross under the skin which cross under some skin pitting. i noticed his neck does seem to have some pitting or small spots in places. But it is so faint, it could be a lot of things.

I remember that . I'm just not sure how they went in to get it.
This is the closest explanation I've found, but no idea if it's true.
