There are lots of great photos out there, and we do see some nice screen-grabs from different Elvis movies. But I believe there are so many which are just waiting to be plucked and posted here, and possibly used for covers. I believe they can be cleaned up enough to make them suitable for that purpose, but I'm not sure. At any rate, they are just great to look at. I don't have the technology to do this, except by taking pics of them on my camera phone.
But a lot of times I'll be watching a video, and I'll see something and think, "Freeze it!" And I'll go back and look at the frozen image. Sometimes in casual watching you just miss these great images. I have some favorites from Elvis In Concert, Elvis On Tour, Aloha, whatever. They will be kind of low-res, but if I figure out how to send my phone pics to my e-mail, then I'll post some here. (I've tried sending a couple but they haven't gone through for whatever reason.)
Anybody have any they'd like to share?

OK, so one did go through to my e-mail. And keep in mind, this is not really a screen-grab, but a photo taken of my TV screen from my phone--and it's an EOT DVD-R. Hope you like it.
Alright, so this probably could not be cleaned up enough to be used on a cover, but could one of you guys with PhotoShop or whatever de-pixellate this, and enhance it in any other way you see fit? I'd greatly appreciate it.

No, Matt. I'm in need of a computer upgrade--in fact, the disc drive is broken. Thanks for the advice though.

Here's another one taken just before the other. I actually like this pic better, but his head is cut off a little.
Again, please forgive the quality. I'm just wanting to share some cool images here.

Here's one I really like from Elvis In Concert, taken just after Hound Dog.

the man is still one cool looking dude! i always likes that shot also. it's like e.p is saying ' hey i'm still having a pretty good time up here and they still dig me'. he will never ever be equaled or matched by any performer. look at all the time we all share talking about him. thanks to elvis we all formed a worldwide bond. i was having a pretty crummy year :'( :'( . just went through a divorce after 14 years of marriage. and i stumbled upon this message board. and i found a great group of elvis buddies (y) (y) (y) (y)  . it's great that we can all share our love for the man, and sometimes disagree also.... but thats the fun of being a fan. see ya later... simmerrocks (y) (y) (y) (y)

Bobby,
Guess you're right there, a lot of nice photos waiting to be discovered in this way.
Keep them coming, the CBS shot is a great one, and shows it wasn't all as gloomy as some would have you believe.

Elvis did a fair bit of smiling and joking around and, inspite of his ill health, he still seemed to take a lot of pleasure from being up on that stage.

Mike,
It's great to hear you say those things, and to know this messageboard and the people on it mean a lot to you, as is certainly the case with myself. :D
Mark,
It's nice to know I'm not crazy...well, actually I guess that's yet to be disproven. Really, I'm glad that you've been enjoying these. That last shot is one I've had my eye on for a long time, and you're right, it certainly paints a different picture than what is commonly thought of the CBS special.
I'll try to come up with some more here, though most of my videos are currently being borrowed by a friend. Think I'll have to retrieve them this coming week.

Here's one more from the airplane boarding scene in EOT. This is probably all of these I'll be able to post for a while.

Glad you like them, spinout.
