I am looking for photos of Elvis with curly hair :wub:

Yes, he must have had it curled Marija and I also noticed that in the movie Follow That Dream he also had something done to his hair to give it a wave. I like it better natural.

I once read that Elvis had his hair permed. Here is a photo of it. There was another photo I can't find. It was at profile view and you can see it clear.

Also in Jailhouse Rock He had something done to make it look different from Loving You.

Yeah I think he's got a perm in Jailhouse Rock. His hair is always straight as can be otherwise. His hair looks kind of weird on the Blue Hawaii album cover too.

love the wavy hair, curls, not so much. i think i read somewhere that he talked his Mom into giving him a Toni homeperm when he was in high school.
and there's that cute story about Dolores Hart & him in his dressing room, where she had talked him into putting curlers in his hair.
He certainly was a very confident person!

When I actually had enough hair to worry about and lord I had a bunch at one time, I had perms with the largest rollers possible to be put in so it never looked like a perm, it just gave wave and made it more manageable. My hair is straight as a stick just like EP's. I think it looked cool with a little bit of a perm, ala Jailhouse Rock, Speedway.

It's always nice to have a little body-wave,especially when you have "poker-straight" hair.I should know.I always get a perm every 3months,just so I can have a little bit of a body-wave in my hair.It also pays to have a mother,who's a hair-dresser.
