Hi,
Just read on epgold - That all this talk about Indianapolis coming to FTD is not true - according to Ernst.
To Bad :(

Well, that stinks. I would think it's still a possibility though at some point. We'll just have to wait and see.
Oh, and welcome, rafael. Make your next post a happier one, OK? ;)

Hang on a sec. I just read the update referenced above. My impression was that another statement had been made by Ernst completely denouncing this report, but that is not the case. The way he worded that comment still leaves plenty of possibility in my mind. It sounds to me like maybe it just wasn't supposed to be brought out into the open at this time.

I just cannot figure out why they treat these things like military secrets!
If they have obtained the show, then just say so -if they haven't, then say we have not obtained this show - it's that simple ;)
My personal opinion is that I don't feel they have gotten it; if they did, I do believe they'd officially announce it properly in order to hype its future release. However, I am also hoping that I am wrong here :)

Never say never...
There's so much more to release by FTD that hasn't been released by import labels. So after FTD has nothing good left in their vault, releasing good audience recordings will be a good option.
The source used for Adios, The Final Performance and Since Cincinnatti (a few days earlier) is amazingly good. Recordings like that easily beat many of the flat sounding soundboards. Although 'Adios, The Final Performance' sounds good already, someone managed to remaster the sound even more. I have that last concert on VCD and the sound is even better than on the CD.

If you read the alleged statement from EMJ carefully, he does nor deny having anything -it is only the "releasing" that is the question. Has EMJ denied the interview he gave to Arjan Deelan where the offer for the tape was made ?
