Has anyone heard any updates on Linda's new book??

Last, I heard it was suppose to come out last Oct. 07, but nothing has been mentioned since then..:hmm:

I hope she hasn't changed her mind...

The last I heard is that it got pushed back due to searching for the right publisher.

It shouldn't take this long trying to find a publisher, so maybe she decided not to go though with it.

i decided a few years ago never to buy another elvis book,then came peter guralnick's 2 books and they got lots of praise so i bought them.they were great by the way,then i said i will never buy another elvis book, because its the same old stuff.

BUT:blush: i think i would buy this one because maybe theres lots to hear from linda

p.s she was a babe aswell when the king was with her :notworthy

There is zero information on the internet about this book so l would like to know whats going on with the progress. I know linda been with jeannie on her book tours so maybe she feels thats good enough.

I read somewhere (?) the reason she put the book on hold because of her divorce from David Foster. I have not read anything about the "so called" book since.

I would definitely be interested to read Linda's book...I've always thought she was such a classy lady and was very good for Elvis. If only Elvis had been able to change his ways, maybe the two of them would have gotten married! :hmm:

Some of Linda's stories have made their way into other Elvis books and programs throughout the years, and some of them haven't been the most flattering stories that could be told of Elvis...

So I'm not sure how "explosive" some of the stories she could tell would really be...although I'm sure there is A LOT that she has to tell that hasn't been heard about before, so who knows... :hmm:

Yup, that's what she said on the news here back in 06 as well.

She said it would be out sometime in 07 around the anniversary of his death.

I heard about that one, but for some reason I also thought Linda was going to have her own book, too. Either way, I'd like to read it, when it comes out...

I hope she does go through w/the book I would love to hear what she has to say, I to think she was very very good to and for Elvis...as well as Lisa.

Franny, she does have her own official site but much of it is still under construction.:)

like Geordie, i swore off Elvis biography books after the Guralnick books. i do think Linda's will be different, but aren't there a few books out now by Linda or co-authored by Linda? including one written with her brother Sam?
