I've seen Ann Margaret at Elvis' Funeral on you tube. Just type in Elvis" Funeral, and it shows Ann walking out of Forest Hill Mosuleum.

She attended (Ginger) but was in the last limo or something......they pretty much tossed her aside after he died.....which wasn't very nice. No matter how you feel about her.

I don't think it was fair to put so much on Ginger. She kind of bugs me, but it really upsets me to see people be mean to someone who Elvis spent his last hours with. I for one do not blame her for anything. I'm grateful that he had some folks there the day he died. She was so very young and I just think she has had to deal with not being Linda or Cilla way to much. Elvis choose to have her there for whatever reason. I respect his choice.

You're correct. She was there but she stayed out of sight.

I think she can beseen on moving footage of the funeral

She was dressed in a white dress and you can see her coming out of the mausoleum....

Not 100 percent sure it is her but have a strong feeling it can be her.....

I tried viewing the video but it "skips".....

riley

try seeing it from the beginning not only funeral raw , the link works fine for me
I think the skipping we all have in it perhaps different cameras brought together there is also a no sound somewhere but it is near the end you'll see them coming OUT of the mausoleum and there is that lady in white dess totally on her own who looks like Ginger to me

also Linda can be seen in public and even at the end we see some ladies together in black who can be family members too

wow great footage! I want to watch it at home when I have more time. I did see the lady at the very beginning with her back to the camera in a white dress - is that who you mean?

Well, I saw Ann Margret dressed in a black dress and wearing sunglasses, I also saw Joe esposito and the other guys and I also saw a woman in a white dress but I couldn't clearly see who she was. Possibly it was Ginger.

no it is a young women coming "out" of the mausoleum at the end, she comes out together with two other ladies also in white dress, and she carries a little handbag in her hands....
she comes before you see ann margret going to her car

yes, it's weird that there's so little footage of Ginger during august 1977. You'd think press was all over her.

presley31
02-01-2008, 11:30 AM
Could it be that lots were mad at ginger, maybe thats why there's no pictures?

ReGina_89

maybe thats why there r no fan pics but what the press has to do with that

riley

by the way in the very end you see some women all dressed in black standing together, It looks like Pris and her mom and maybe her sister too me

I don't think Vernon liked Ginger . But, don't see how anyone could stop her from attending the funeral.
I didn't think Ginger was exactly the "right" one for Elvis nor do I think he would have married her .
At least she kept her mouth shut for many years , not like others.

She was a pretty girl, reminded me of Priscilla years ago.

riley ur right or maybe that could have been Dodger and her daughters or all of them together

ReGina_89

well the press has to mantian a level of professionalism so they'd get the pics no matter how they feel IMO

riley
02-01-2008, 12:02 PM
not dodger, and daughters these are younger women, I think Pris is among them too
The blond lady is IMO Ann Beaulieu

She just happened to be there when he died.

she was there, she is mentionned being there by many many eyewitnesses....

One of the most "known" stories is the healthy treebranch falling of when the funeral procession was going to leave Graceland and almost falling or hitting the car where The Aldens were sitting in....

ReGina_89

that must have been a brutal sign :P hehe

I don't know if it was Ginger i saw or some other woman who resembled her. This kinda off topic.. but i enjoyed seeing the interview with "Uncle Vester". He seemed to be a very nice man. The interviewer asked Vester did he think the tropy room will ever be opened to the public? He said "yes i think it will for a small fee or price. It's amazing that to get the whole tour is almost $70. I liked "Uncle Vester he was so cool.

the link I posted is indeed woth to watch, every item also what was being read on elvis funeral by the Minister was touching

Broussey
02-01-2008, 02:48 PM
Yes the minister was very good no wonder he was chosin... As for Ginger call he what you want even Linda for that matter but Ginger hasn't splatted elvis name around like most do if anything she has keep to herself and Linda it seems like she only talks about elvis when asked she doesn't splat his name around either I like Priscilla and is happy with the things shes done but why do some of you not like ginger?? or Linda for that matter.. Then again you cant make everyone happy :)

Tony Trout

I think the reason that a lot of fans look down on Ginger is simply because they (and I'll be the first to admit that I'll include myself in that group) feel that Ginger was too young and too inexperienced to deal with someone like Elvis and that, had Linda still been there that day, Elvis would still possibly be with us. That's not really a fair statement because the end was coming for Elvis whether either Ginger or Linda had been there and, sadly, according to Dr. Nick himself there was really nothing anyone could have done to save Elvis that horrible day in August of 1977 even if they had been right there in the room with him.

Maybe she felt a bit gilty by not notice Elvis absense that terrible august 17th ... I don't know. :hmm: And, imagine, if she was in the last car, maybe she felt even more unconfortable: she was not in good relation (that day, I guess) with Elvis' famly, friends and fans. Also, maybe she didn't want to come out to the public because of the press. :hmm:

She was Rosanne. Elvis didn't pick her as a nurse and companion as he did Linda because she simply was too young and incapable. She was pretty...that's all. There was no deep feelings on either side.

I dont know what you all got about Ginger? I mean, Elvis was in love with her. Didnt he make a proposal to her? Iam not sure about that tho.
At least for me its very bad that she was tossed aside after E died, she was the one who Elvis spent his last days and hours with. And I am pretty sure the years following also.
Just my opinion tho..

Greetings!

There are 2 people who after he died went away, never to return to the Elvis World. One is Ginger Alden and the other is Al Strada. The 2 people who I would very much like to listen to now! They were both there that day and the only 2 who have never written books! Al Strada now lives in California driving a truck. Ginger is living in New York, heard she married an attorney and had a kid but read somewhere the other day she was married to a TV exec. ?? Don't know.
