Elvis was sticking pretty close to home waiting for his baby to be born. I wonder if he was nervous because of what he mom went through????

I'm sure he was like any other first time dad but he also seemed very anxious to have that baby and as we all know now, he spoiled her rotten..no surprise.:)

Yes Lisa Marie was born on my mom's birthday - Feb 1st......she was a cute little bugger!

And had lots of people that adored her. Beautiful baby. I love the story how they almost went to the wrong hospital. Poor Pricilla. She probably was the calmest one in the bunch. Usually the women is! LOL

It must have been one of the greatest moments of his life,I`m sure he was feeling a million and one different emotions when he saw Lisa for the first time,and you just know that one of them was the wish that Gladys had been there to see her as well.

oh yes for sure - I'm sure he "spoke" to his mom many times about Lisa....wishing she were there. Well, maybe she was......isn't that sad?? Lisa never knew her Grandmother.....

p.s. any new pics come through of Lisa lately? I'm still saying she was pregnant....but I would think if she was - would have had the baby by now.....I wish her the best!

Oh,yes! What a story. They were headed towards the "Methodist Hospital" when Priscilla suddenly realised that this was the wrong direction! She said:"I'm having the baby in this car if we don't get to the Baptist hospital!" They finally got to the hospital where Lisa was born that afternoon. Priscilla said that she had never seen Elvis so ecstatic. He was in heaven. He was a very protective dad. Maybe over-protective!
