Any body knows where the second studz blackawk is? I heard that it had been crashed by one of the MM and was in storage since then. Has it been fixed? Do EPE still have it? If they do have it then why is it not on display?? I saw a picture that Miss Clawdy posted on my Black Ferrari tread & it doesn't look damaged from what we see & that picture was taken for sure after October 76 because the black Ferrari is in the picture too! (I would even think that picture was taken after Elvis passing).

One could be in another exhibit or could you not e-mail EPE to find out?

Thanks Jon,when I went to Graceland back in 1992, they talked about it being damaged from an accident while Elvis was alive & never been repaired & in storage. I am stunned to see that the two have been in the car museum!!

I have some great pictures of his black Stutz as it sits right outside the front doors of the Hilton on August 6, 1973. In the background is the HUGE banner with Elvis in his red jumpsuit that reads "ELVIS NOW." I wish I knew how to get them onto here....:blink:

It is very expensive to repair those Stutz's because there are no replacement parts around. If you have to get it fixed, it will be by hand and that is very, very costly. The labor charges will be tremendous. I once saw a program on restoring a Stutz Blackhawk and they said it will take 4000 man hours to restore it because parts are no longer made for it, I wish the Stutz brand will come back around.
