Yes, the "elvis in concert" dvd is truely amazing..."how great..." and " Hurt" are my two fav of this one

Beautiful but also telling. It seems to me that the most powerful connection he had in life, was his connection to God. You can feel it in that song. Yes, he went searching, yes, like all sinners, he went down the wrong path, but he always would return. God's love gave him something that no human could give him.
You may not agree with his faith, but it was what it was to him IMO.
And for me personally, I understand the struggles and conflicts of that faith, (any faith or lack of it will do that) But it also gives me comfort because (and you don't have to agree here) I wonder if God heard, saw and felt his pain, and just said, time to come home. (time to rest your weary soul in the arms of your father, time to be with the people you miss so much) People say he died to young, to early, I don't think that way. I'm not sure I would have wanted him to stay.

How Great Thou Art decribes Elvis perfectly. I've alway enjoyed his gospel songs,he could sing gospel like no other performer. And his version on EIC was great. I also enjoyed "in the early morning rain".

Elvis had a deep respect for God i feel better knowing that he is with his king in a place where he truly knows LOVE..
