Question About The Song Burning Love

a question for you...I was watching the On Tour movie and at one point Elvis says that they are going to try a new song (the song is Burning Love) I believe he is wearing the Powder Blue Nail Jumpsuit right? at what concert (what city) did he first song Burning Love? was it then in the movie? and what city was he in when he sang it in the movie? Just curious

I do believe the footage in the movie is from the San Antonio, Texas concert on April 18th, 1972. I'm not too sure if this is the first time E.P. performed live or not. The April 'On Tour' Tour started on April 5th.

This San Antonio show is available in its entirety on the 'Elvis Close-Up' 4 CD set.

For whatever reason, it's a song he seemed to have some mental block about memorizing. :hmm:

But one of my favorite versions is the one from Memphis, June 10, 1975, presented in excellent sound on the DAE release Let Me Take You Home.
