Does anyone happen to know the story on how RCA created the famous 1959 LP title "50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong"? My guess is that, at the time, there were 50,000,000 members from Elvis fan clubs worldwide. I could be wrong.

I'm not positive but around this time RCA said Elvis had sold around 50 million records so maybe that is where the title idea came from "50 Million records"-"50 Million fans." Thats my guess.

That is correct. RCA also gave him a console TV as a gift to commemorate the occasion.
