Has Anyone Heard About This?

A few months ago i read a news article on the internet (that i cant find now) that talked about the possiblity of recreating at Graceland what they did on American Idol with Celine Dion.
They would have what would seem to be a 'real Elvis' that would look pretty much like Elvis never left Graceland. That would walk around inside Graceland for the fans....
Has anyone else heard about this?
I think it would be a HORRIBLE idea. It would scare me. Id definately pass out for sure if i saw that.

My granddad told me this, he is a life long Elvis fan, since 1956. I think it's totally stupid !

They alway did, It's part of 30th Ann. Show In Memphis in 8/16/07 I saw a clip of it at that time on youtube. it's wasn't that good clip they had Elvis coming out his bedroom, down the steps out the door of Graceland into hept. fly to the show and have him walk on the stage walk behind the thing and the show was start from there . that's best I can do in words.

That was unbelievably tacky and tasteless, IMO. An impersonator re-enacting Elvis coming to a venue ... a venue where they were commemorating the 30th anniversary of his death!

Since I've already visited Graceland.....I have to say it may be interesting for Elvis to be wandering around....creepy yes...but make it more realisitic as being his home......I'm not against it.

IMO...that is the absolutely the tackiest thing they have ever pulled, tasteless and classless.(n) The man has been dead for 30 years...let him have his dignity...;);)

I don't think they mean a virtual EP image inside the mansion. I think the new virtual reality attraction will be part of the new visitor center next door to the mansion. And I think what they meant by what you saw on American idol with EP singing with a modern day star is an indication that they will have virtual video technology created to make it look as if EP is performing with today's top stars. Maybe have Aerosmith rocking with EP on Guitar Man from the 68 Comeback or a virtual duet with Beyonce or Faith Hill? That would be sweet.(y)

Some friends of mine from England were there and they were thrilled .
Guess you can't please everyone though;).
