I bought a Page from Elvis’ personally owned book called O’Grady.

I purchased it from “Affordable Memorabilia of Memphis” on eBay.

The seller gave me all of the documentation, and a Lifetime Money Back Guarantee.

He is a very honest seller, and one of the only ones that I will trust.

Elvis read from this very book on stage in Vegas on September 2, 1974.

Five of the pages in the book have Elvis’ handwritten notes, but they went for between $500-$700 each on eBay!

I got a page from Elvis’ book that doesn’t have any of his notes, but I’m still very happy to own something that belonged to Elvis.

I have a lot of Elvis owned items, but this is my newest edition to my collection.

Here’s a picture of Elvis holding the book on-stage:

Also here’s some pictures of the page that I purchased from Elvis’ book:

I saw it also on eBay, but I question the authenticity since selling the book as it was, if really owned by Elvis, would gather more money than ripping out pages and selling them individually; especially since it was the only artifact owned by Elvis that I saw I could afford :P was what raised my suspicions.

But then again, if it was really owned by Elvis, then (y)

I didn´t see this item on eBay but, I would be very suspicious of it.

Firstly...

Who provided the Certificate of Authenticity?

Secondly...

Why would a seller rip up an Elvis Presley owned book? It is worth far more intact.

:hmm:

I agree...on both counts. That book is worth far more intact than it would be worth ripped apart...

Ian, what is your ebay id? Since we both have bought from same people - was wondering if you and I bid against each other before? pretty funny!! There was one guy who kept buying stuff from eap_4_ever for hundreds of dollars! There was no way I could beat that - he was very determined.

Who knows who has possession of this book?? Is it displayed at Graceland?? It could be a copy, not the actual one belonging to Elvis.

The seller I purchased it from, bought it from a collector in Memphis, that previously bought it from Vester Presley in 1989.

The seller I purchased from is an organization of the ElvisOwned website, and is located in Memphis, and has been selling authentic Elvis owned memorabilia since 1990 without any complaints.

The seller I purchased from is about 25 minutes away from Graceland.

His business is called “Affordable Memorabilia of Memphis”.

The reason he tore the pages out of the book is so that people (like me) can afford to buy a piece of Elvis owned history.

He sold the pages with Elvis’ handwritten notes for between $500-$700 each.

And the Dust Cover of the book, went for around $500.

The rest of the pages are selling for $20 each, and there is around 200 pages or so (I can’t remember exactly how many).

I bought one of the $20 pages from Elvis’ book, even though it doesn’t have any handwritten notes from Elvis (I couldn’t afford those), it was still owned by the king. And I’m very happy to own it.

He gave me a whole booklet of documentation on the book, including a copy of the original letter from Vester Presley, when it sold back in 1989.

I also did hours of re-search on this purchase, and everything matches up perfectly.

Also, here’s a picture of the letter from Vester Presley:

What kind of information did you find to verify that the page you bought is authentic?
Thanks!
