I have a real hard time when I see this kind of very personal item being up for sale. If Priscilla didn't want it fine, that is her decision but I feel at least Lisa would want to hang onto something this precious. Don't they cherish anything at all????:blink:

How come Jimmy Velvet got it instead of Priscilla? I don't understand that either - and EPE should buy it back and put it back in the archives. Like you say - atleast Lisa should have it.

Priscilla has her very own if you remember from elvis by the presleys, there was a ablum with pictures from the wedding.

Me neither, Diane. Slowly I am thinking Lisa is the only person
on earth who has no special connection to Elvis :blink:.
I also would like to keep such precious memories for my kids....

I've always taken up for Lisa from the beginning but she is starting to lose my respect. Either she is just using her dad for the money too or her mother and her family have one heck of a strong hold over her...if so, it's time she breaks out of it.

priscilla has no hold over lisa, she is a free as a bird and does as she pleases. The wedding pictures she didn't give all them away cause there lots of other ablums full of pictures that the family have for lisa and the grandchildren.

Diane....I completely agree with both of your comments. I don't care how many albums Priscilla may have, to sell this on Ebay is plain old-fashioned tacky, IMO.(n) It seems as though the gap between parent and business is getting closer together for Lisa. I think Pris still has alot of control over Lisa, regardless of how "free-thinking" Lisa may think she is. This story is tacky and sad....(n)(n)

We do not know the circumstances under which this album was sold to Jimmy Velvet nor does it say what year he brought this album. I just am curious as to how many copies of this album exist.

I saw this over at FECC and, IMO, the album looks to me like the photos of the wedding were just put into a $4.00 photo album and is being sold as being the wedding album.....
















In other words...I think it's as fake as a $4.00.

No we don't know if the album is real or under what circumstances Jimmy may have bought it but it got to me because there have been so many personal items of Elvis that he either gave to someone we know is not hurting financially or to family members that have appeared on eBay in the last couple of years.

If an item is not particularly wanted, has no real sentimental value but might to someone else in the family, why not just give it to them instead of selling it and/or having it sold on a place like eBay that is just a glorified flea market? It just seems to me that he is no longer valued as human being by some of the people around him that he gave so much to, but rather just a means to pick up some money.

said, I find it very sad and strange that they are selling Elvis personal

I think the date this was bought was 78, was vernon still alive and selling things to keep graceland going??

I know Jimmy Velvet was a friend of Elvis' and Elvis did give him many things and also let him take photo's that he put in his museum. Something happened where Jimmy needed money and I think he sold alot of his stuff......business deal gone bad or something. A friend of mine is a friend of Jimmy's and they used to keep in touch alot - not sure how much anymore.

Dear Jennifer

This is not Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding album. Priscilla still has it and she allowed it to be used for
Elvis By The Presleys DVD and it’s in the book by the same name. This is a copy of their wedding album that was made for Vernon
and Dee Presley. We can not collaborate that Vernon gave it to Elvis or why he would since Elvis and Priscilla
has their own copy. We also don’t know when or how it ended up with Jimmy Velvet. It was not owned
or sold by EPE Archives.
