Now, why do you think the singer changed the lyrics in this version?...Original the lyrics are "It`ll be lonely this christmas" , but in this version " It woun`t be lonely" ,hmm......:hmm:

I always liked that sung, heard a bit Elvis in it.
Wasn't it the lead singer of Mud who sang it????
Beautiful video, exactly how I feel about it seeing the house all decorated and waiting for
a master that will never come home anymore.
Graceland altough still beautiful is so lonley without him

Yes Riley, it was Mud who did the song originally back in 74 and I read somewhere, that the song was written about Elvis after his divorce, but I don`t know if it`s true.
Still don`t get why the lyrics is changed in this version, somehow it don`t make sence...

Don't know it either elvisia.
Did mud's lead singer and Elvis knew each other pretty well??????
It looks indeed exactly how Elvis must have felt his first christmas at Graceland withour Priscilla but am I wrong or was Linda Thompson then alreaddy with him?????
I suppose the first christmas without Pris must have been 1972

I'm guessing that Christmas 1971 was the last Christmas they spent together but I may be wrong....
I always loved the version of MUD, from the first time I heard it. Now even more! It's a beautiful clip and tribute to Elvis. I wonder why Elvis never sang this song himself. It would have sounded great. I'm sure of it. I guess Les Gray of MUD was a huge Elvis fan. He always wanted to sound like Elvis. Mud has several great songs, by the way. Old fashion Rock n' Roll.
