Hey friends,
I have the opportunity to get the following Elvis imports:
* Two april nights
* I'm going home
* The Memphis Flash
Does any-one know of these CD's, and is there a site where I can find info on them concerning content and sound quality! Any help would be greatly appreciated (y)
Hope to hear from all you experts!

Haven't heard anything about those releases yet, but the "Two April Nights" release probably will contain both the Vegas shows from April first.
One of them "Rockin' April Fools Day" is in the import section. The second one will follow shortly.
If this new release does feature those two (audience recorded) shows it could be a nice release. The sound is okay, at least on the "Rockin' April Fools Day" title and both shows are really good.

Sonny, man did you just take me back in time. I remember back in my early teens, saving up my money, and buying the LP " Rockin' April Fools Day " from Elvis Unlimited. The good old days. :lol:

Hahaha :D
It's always good to remember those "good ol' days" of bootlegs, and trying to get them, isn't it?

It was a blast, no two ways about.
Still have some of those old catalogues packed away some place.

Of the three titles you named i would have got this : Two april nights (if it is the April 1st 1975 shows)
"I'm going home" I was looking for cover to this cd on my site, but it was not there, i have the original cd, it have the complete Guitar man session on it, that means all the known takes of that song, pluss all the takes of a few other songs, Going home, Stay away, U.S. Mail.
So this is not a fun cd to put on, it`s cool to have all the known takes on one cd, the sound are very nice too.
I did not find a cd in my collection with this title "The Memphis Flash" i found one that looked very interestin with almost the same name, i have not heard that cd, i will do it tomorrow, but i will shaow you the front and back cover to it, i only hope that i show you scans of the "right" cd for you.

Thanks Kenny! This is very useful info! (y)
I wonder about the Two april nights CD. I received it without covers or info about content ... it is definately a concert. Didn't have much time to listen to it, but will do so later. It doesn't start with CC Rider, but jumps straight to If you love me (let me know) I believe ...

I do own the cd "Memphis Flash" it is only for the die-hard Elvis fan, the sound quality is terrible, I would rate it a 2 out of 10, I advice you to skip it or use it as a frisbee

The CD has 26 tracks and starts with:
* If you love me (let me know)
* You gave me a mountain
* Trying to get to you
* O sole mio/It's now or never
* Little sister
* Teddy bear/don't be cruel
* Help me
* My way
* Polk salad Annie
* Hurt
* Unchained melody
* Little Darlin
* Can't help falling in love
Then it continues with:
* O sole mio/It's now or never
* Little sister
* Teady bear/Don't be cruel
and 10 others,
To me it sounds and looks like 1977 Elvis ... does this, in combo with the name of the CD 'Two april nights' make any sense to you? :hmm:
