I was looking at wikipedia's list of Elvis' songs and it says By the Time I Get to Phoenix. Anyone have this so I can hear it? Thanks

I think thats one of those one line deals he did in concert. He did not record it on any album. Glen Cambell had a hit with this song in 67. It was one of Glens many Jimmy Webb written hits.

Forget Wikipedia!
It's a good enough site to settle some bar bets, but that's about it.
Phoenix was indeed just a one-liner.
I don't have my bootleg tapes with me, but from memory it was "sung" in Phoenix, 1970.
Perhaps someone who has the info at hand can confirm this?

Getlo,
The only info I could come up with is that "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" was sung in concert (most likely as a one-liner) in the '70s with the first time being in Phoenix, AZ on September 9, 1970 and (according to the "Elvis In Concert" (http://www.elvis-in-concert.com) website) he also sang it in Las Vegas, NV for the last time on February 8, 1974.

Okay, I had to go deeper than my tapes. Elvis did this one-liner three times on stage.
By The Time I Get To Phoenix: a one-liner (ie Elvis warbled just the title) was indeed done in Phoenix, September 9, 1970, right between I Got A Woman and Love Me Tender.
Additionally, the same one-liner version was also done:
Vegas, February 23, 1971 closing show: between I Got A Woman and Love Me.
Vegas, February 8, 1974 midnight show: during the introductions, before Blueberry Hill.
I would have loved to have heard a proper live or studio version from Elvis, as it's a great song.
