Jay Leno's "Elvis" bike now online: Jay Leno, the host of NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, is one of the lucky owners of one of the 30 Elvis Presley 30th Anniversary Signature Harley-Davidson motorcycles. http://www.elvis.com/news/full_story.asp?id=1203

He sure makes a lot of Elvis Fat jokes for someone who must be a fan if he's spending that money on the bike, and for someone who is fat them self.

I'm baffled by Leno having ratings success .

No matter what shape he was in Elvis always looked cool on a motorcycle.....I doubt if Mr. Leno could manage cool after a fortnight in the fridge.

Yeah, but to be fair, he makes fun of everything and everybody. I put it down as only those of us who truly love Elvis can say these things about him. He was overweight and he did struggle with his weight all his life.

And that was SOME bike, if I were 20 years younger, I'd love to own and ride a Harley, the power sound of that - all I can say is wow!
And the artwork and sculptures - I would love to have that portrait of Elvis & his bike in front of Sun Productions!

Yes, Lisarose he does make fun of everything, but saying someone is overweight and making "fat jokes" are two different things, IMO...

I agree, cool bike! (y)

Yeah, Franny, I hate it when someone makes fun of him, especially just to be cruel. In one of the Leno motoclips, he did comment about 'fat Elvis', but I didn't cringe, it didn't seem mean, and Leno can be has been mean!

I'm very surprise Leno would want one of these motorcycles. I don't appreciate his jokes either. He sure is no Johnny Carson, no where near his class.

I've seen less funny people on TV, but not many.

Yep, it's "their job." as a late night talk show host .
They do make fun of everyone. I personally ,seldom watch any of them.
The politicians are getting it now with our elections coming in 2008.
To each their own to forms of entertainment .

I agree Leno is not in Carsons league but Carson did take his jokes to far once in a while.
He use to joke about Wayne Newtons-uh masculinity. He did it quite a bit and Wayne sent word to Johnny that he wanted him to stop. Johnny didn't- until Wayne showed up at Johnnys office one day and told him to stop or Wayne was going to kick Johnnys-behind.(not the word Wayne supposedly used)
Johnny did not make anymore Newton jokes. :D

Ha that's funny KPM. I had never heard of this. Well shame on Johnny. I'm not a Newton fan, never was but no one needs to be put down like that. I'm glad Wayne found a way to stop it. :) Leno seems to do it on a more regular basis though so I'm never interested in watching the show anymore.

I used to love watching Johnny around animals and birds. I don't think I've ever met anyone so completely awkward around them and even more so when trying to handle them.

Back on topic, I'd like to see Leno wearing a helmet with that jaw of his sticking out.....sorry, but if he can do it to others, he's a fair target too. :)

True, Diane. If, he can dish it out, then he should be able to take it!
