Tahoe shows October 1974

I have never heard a lot about these shows Elvis did immediately after his Sept/Oct 74 tour. I do know he wore some jumpsuits for the first time (Sundial, King of Spades) that wouldn't surface again until years later. I have seen a few pics from some of the shows, just wondering if anyone had more info or pics. Thanks..(y)

This session is great
He did 8 concerts at Lake tahoe in october
He introducted his new suit, Sundial suit at Oktober 11 or 12.
He used the King of spaded suit at 12 Oktober, all the others the Sundial suit was used:)

I have bought both Tahoe-CDs and I have to say that Elvis still was in the strange mood he was in during the tour. The king is clearly under the influence of medication during these shows and it gives me some kind of uneasy feeling. He may be singing great (he certainly does) and the programme may be good (it clearly is), but nevertheless the shows are not good. Not because of the performance itself, but because of the condition Elvis was in.

By the way, both cds sound good considering the source.

Orwell1976, when listening to these 2 cd's do you get the feeling that the shows were abit rushed. I got that feeling when playing October Encore In Lake Tahoe. I don't have that other cd, but to me that show seemed rushed..especially when listening to the oldies.

NO Elvis doesn't sound 'under the influence' in ANY of the Oct 1974 Tahoe shows i have heard. He doesn't sound rushed either, but his comments and show length are quite short(well certainly compared to a month before)i thought that Oct Encore was the better of the 2 shows and also i felt he related to fans well during the show too-couldn't find much i didn't like during this show.
