I think that linda Tompson was great with elvis and showed she cared no matter what happen. Billy smith was also a great influence and showed his love for elvis though and though. Gladys too.

His mom, his cousins and Linda. I guess the Colonel, but I don't think that was a good influence at all.

Maybe his mom...It's hard to judge since he also had an influence over the people he knew, so you can't know what really came from which person, see what I mean?

Obviously his mother..
After that it gets more difficult to choose. I'd like to say Jerry Shilling.
Also Steve Binder..the director of the '68 Special. He was a creative director and someone Elvis really could use like that as manager.

After his mother, there was no one IMO.
He spent a lot of time reading, searching. Geller was the only one he seemed able to talk to about spiritual things.
That was his interest, but it seemed to make everyone else uncomfortable.
Very strange to me; the discomfort . :hmm:
