Fifty generations? Hardly.

Since a generation is 22 years, then I'd suggest the book wouldn't go back 1100 years!

And of course the author has found herself to be distantly related to Elvis: and I'm sure this has nothing to do with wanting to up the sales. ;)

Even Oprah says she is related to Elvis. Please.

We are all probably related to one another if we trace everything far enough back. I think genealogy is really interesting, but it doesn't get me all excited to think that somewhere however many hundred/thousand years back I might be related to somebody famous....

Getlo....I caught the very end of the commercial way back. Just how is it that Oprah is related to Elvis?? On this..I have to agree....PPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEEE!!!!!!

They are 8th cousins, supposedly someone did a family tree I have it someplace and then Oprah had one done independently. Lisa looked quite shocked at that claim.

I didn't think Lisa looked shocked at all. She'd already heard that info.
Looked like they had a great time together. Lisa even took Oprah to the "off limits" storage. Good for them both....(y)

Most everyone agrees Lisa looked shocked and what she had said was that she'd read RUMORS of it...most people got the feeling that Lisa hadn't believed it.
I love both women and if indeed they are (and why would Oprah so it was on tv if she'd not totally confirmed it) then YAY. Good for both of them.
Yes Lisa did show her that room, however, it is not the first that that room was shown on tv.:)
