It was the Snowman, or that was one of them. Or are you saying that you want someone to make one up or you've made one up?

He called himself "Colonel Snow" whenever he called Graceland or Elvis or whomever on the road. This was taken from one of his earlier clients, Hank Snow.
Elvis sometimes addressed him as "Admiral".
His childhood nickname was "Dries", but this was used only by his family.
During his army days, he was known as "The Guv" or "Popsy".
And, technically, "The Colonel" itself was just a nickname.

Yes, it comes from a group he started called the Snowmen's League. It was free to join, but you had to pay to leave. Nobody ever did. It was basically a joke, and not a real group. It was for all the hucksters and carnys in his life. Elvis was a member.
He gave out cards like this one attached to all members.
I don't know if he was actually called the Snowman though.

col parker was nicknamed - the genius
dont know why!!!!!!!::hmm:
He also allegedly sold advertising to people (who were gullible enough to buy it) in his future autobiography- which was to be written at some unspecified date. He managed Hank Snow and Eddie Arnold before Elvis and both of them for years did not like discussing him.

Again, for the record: this is incorrect.
"Dries" was a childhood nickname, given to him by his family.
The Colonel's birth name was Andreas Cornelis van Kuijk.
"Dries" came from Andreas.
Of all people, Col Dries, I'd have thought you'd know your own name.
