Charlotte, N.C. – Press Pass’ latest Elvis Presley trading card release, Elvis: The Music, offers collectors and Elvis fans an unprecedented chance to own their very own piece of Rock ‘n Roll history. Collectors can’t help falling in love with Press Pass’ Elvis sets, and with a hit per hobby box Elvis: The Music offers more bang for the buck than ever!
Built around an 81-card base set devoted entirely to the music of Elvis Presley, Elvis: The Music offers at least one Elvis-worn memorabilia or Celebrity Signatures autograph card per hobby box. The extensive line of Elvis-worn memorabilia includes eight different collectible Rock ‘n Roll Relics cards plus rare button and tag exclusive variations. Celebrity Signatures features hand-signed, on card autographs from some of Elvis’ most memorable co-stars and band members, including Mary Ann Mobley, Nancy Sinatra, James Burton, DJ Fontana and Barbara Eden. Rare Elvis Historic Cuts cards feature signatures from Elvis as well as a one-of-a-kind dual signature card of Elvis and former President Richard Nixon. The pair are shown meeting in the Oval Office at the White House.
“Our first two Elvis sets (Elvis Lives & Elvis Is) were greeted enthusiastically by Elvis fans around the globe,” explained Tom Farrell, Director of Marketing, “but we’re really ‘taking care of business’ offering collectors an autograph or memorabilia card per hobby box with Elvis: The Music.”
Elvis fans can also collect the limited edition “TCB” parallel base set featuring Elvis’ famous “TCB” logo, inserted one per pack. The entire Elvis: The Music collection features a vintage design and each black and white photo of Elvis has been artistically enhanced to show vibrant colors. Special plastic insert cards featuring the photography of Alfred Wertheimer are also included at a rate of 1:14 packs. Collectors can also find limited edition autographed versions of the Wertheimer Negative cards numbered to 199 and 56. Product releases on October 3, 2007.
