Yes, I'd b interested too, Esp. if there is anything from the last 5 years. During the time Elvis was doing the concerts, they seemed to concentrate exclusively on in studio sound recordings for record albums.

Excellent DVD ...

Quality differs from song to song, really not bad, noticable from the early years, but overall, an essential addition to any Elvis Presley fan/s collection !

Is this dvd in any way different from "A Collection Of Performances" (BMG/RCA Entertainment release from 2003) - with the very poor run time of 27 minutes.

How long is the run time of "Elvis #1 Hit Performances"?

I got this DVD the day it was released...and played it as soon as i got home...
The picture quality is pretty good, the best quality footage on it are the movie clips, they look soooo colourfull!!
The running time of this dvd is over 60 min.
The only down thing on this DVD is the sound mix, they used 16bit pcm stereo...if you want to release a stereo DVD why not a 94/24bit pcm quality?
It's even more strange that the TTWII & Aloha material is in stereo and not 5.1 dolby digital..both live concerts are in the hands of EPE in 5.1 surround....but they choose the lesser sound quality....very strange..
But for the casual fan this new release is a good one...
With a little more effort this could have been a fantastic new release, with top-of-the-art sound and picture...but as most of the time they went for the easy way...

Thanks for that info, and since the sound is subpar this is, again, a release that I'll let slip by

The sound/mix is not subpar by any means, but what was stated was that it could, (being the objective word here), have been a bit better. Most people don't even pay attention to these technical aspects anyway.

Do not let that spoil the on going enjoyment you will recieve in having all these great performances in one place friend.

The DVD is still worth the $9.72 it's selling for in most retail outlets, at least here in the States ...

The performance of "Hound Dog" from the Sullivan shows is worth the price of admission alone !!!
